I sent my MJ Banyans in for a broken Temple. Expecting having to pay through the nose to get it fixed. I received the glasses back within a week and for only a nominal fee. They had replaced both temples, screws etc. Unbelievable! Thank you so much Sandie (?Spelling) for being an asset to this great company. It is so refreshing to receive this kind of customer service in this day and age.

Excellent quality glasses! Repair took about 20 minutes once I decided to drop my old pair off at repair location. I actually got a pair of a brand new glasses for the fraction of original price! Love it even more now! :)

The quality and clarity of their glasses is awesome. I have personally owned six pair of Maui Jim glasses and have been very happy with them. However, I recently sent a pair of glasses to them for a prescription upgrade. The glasses were returned to me in a cheap and flimsy folding case. The hard clamshell case I sent them in was thrown away by the Maui Jim team. This was my wife’s case and it was her favorite because of the protection it provided her glasses.
Apparently Maui Jim has become so large they are arrogant enough to feel that they can make decisions on my behalf regarding my personal property. Further these glasses are now unnecessarily taking up space in a landfill. Because of their blatant disregard for the environment and customers personal property I have decided to make what I consider an ethical stand and move my business to another manufacturer when I purchase glasses in the future
I took a pair of prescription sunglasses into Pearle Vision to get new lenses put in them. I took them to the store in the original hard case which I intentionally bought for them. When I returned to pick them up they informed me that they were returning them in a flimsy folding soft case. I asked to have my hard case returned only to find out they had discarded my original case. I find it hard to believe that a company would discard my personal property without my consent. When I asked for my case to be returned I was told it had been thrown out. WHY WOULD A COMPANY THROW AWAY SOMETHING THAT DOES NOT BELONG TO THEM? Furthermore they tout themselves as an eco friendly company. This policy of sending a perfectly good glasses case to the dump is the most hypocritical action they could exhibit. Not only is the landfill now unnecessarily exploited by Maui Jim they further used more resources to produce and distribute a case which I did not want or ask for. Hypocritical and wasteful best describes my experience with this company. The excuse I was given by a senior executive is they find this new packaging beneficial. It may be beneficial to their manufacturing companies but it certainly is not a friendly gesture when personal property with sentimental value is simply thrown in the landfill. I value a company with moral integrity and eco friendly policies not one which behaves the way Maui Jim just treated me.
Do not buy Maui Jim.
I have purchased a very expensive one RED SAND for about $300 and after only few weeks the nose pieces have fallen out and when I called customer service for its “warranty” there were no support.
You can buy real brand for $300 dollar.
I bought some Maui Jims a few years ago because my eyes are very light sensitive and I needed some polarised lenses. Not many brands were doing the polarised lenses at that time so I gravitated to Maui Jim. I also have a small face and found many of the designer brands were to big or too heavy and made my ears sore! My original purchase was a wrap around sporty design and very light. The quality and clarity of the lenses along with the protection they gave me in very strong sunlight was absolutely fantastic. I have purchased several pairs since then. When I have had any problems I have usually taken them to a local stockist and they’ve either been replaced or repaired within a week , sometimes free or I have had to pay for them if out of the guarantee time and its more wear and tear (I do wear them a lot!) Over the years I’ve been delighted by this brand. I decided to treat myself to some silver framed sunglasses for this summer, I ordered on Friday and they arrived on Monday. My only criticism is about the website - having a small face its quite hard to see how actually large the frames and lenses are as they do not show them being worn and I could not find any measurements to compare with my other pairs that fit so well. I do usually try to visit stockists so that I can try them on (non-lockdown times) but they do not always have the latest range or a large stock. I’m sure the return policy is as good as the rest of their customer service but it would help if you could see the size on models and there also were measurements. I’m now looking forward to some sunshine so I can wear my new ????. Fabulous brand cant praise enough.

I absolutely love Maui Jim glasses and I'd give a 5 star review except this last pair came with the worst glass case ever!!
It is so poor for keeping the glasses, I am shocked because I know this brand for quality in all aspects.
Recently invoked a repair for my 12-year-old Maui Jim sunglasses. The customer service received from MJ was outstanding and it is difficult to imagine how it could have been better.
Submitted the request on Monday, back on my head Friday morning fitted with new lenses.
Other companies could learn many lessons from MJ regards operational excellence and customer service. If Trustpilot had 6 stars, I would have used all stars!
Very satisfied with every single thing about this company, customer service and ESPECIALLY the product. Would highly recommend!
Just want to write how blown away I was with Maui Jim customer service. I bought my Maui Jim sunglasses in Florida about 5 years ago. I wore them daily. A while back I stepped on them after one of the dogs knocked them on the floor and I shattered one of the lenses. I sent them into Maui Jim with my $100.00 payment for repair and I believe another $30 for back and forth shipping. I just received my sunglasses back after 10 days. They are totally fixed, new lenses, new arm pieces, as a matter of fact I am pretty sure they are new sunglasses! I'm so impressed with the customer service and so very impressed with my Maui Jims, I just love them. I will not buy any other sunglasses. Thank you Maui Jim and can't wait to receive your emails on your new and upcoming sunglasses. Aloha!
